Gerina Stevenson, the Mexican child from Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson was born in Mexico. She is American and comes from a Mexican-American background. Ever since she was young she's always been attracted to sports. Gerina started playing golf at the age of she turned 15 years old. Gerina graduated from Goddard High School. When she was a student in high school she won at the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. Along with volleyball, she competed on an official level. She began attending at the University of Texas. Her senior year was a success. she was a winner in every single tournament that she participated. While in her undergrad seasons, she won the Conference USA's player of the year as well as UTEP Female Athletic of the Year.
