Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale, the American basketball player who plays with the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. Her name was chosen as the 5th overall selection during the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Arike Ogunbowale was born Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2 1997, was the daughter of Yolanda Ogunbowale and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale and Dare Ogunbowale are both 20-years old. As the youngest of her siblings, she was the most spoilt by her parents. The father of her Gregory was a soldier with the Nigerian Army for quite some duration. Ogunbowale was raised in a bustling family. Her mother Yolanda was a softball coach at DePaul as was her brother Dare was once football player. Her aunt played volleyball at UAPB and the cousin Endia Oliver also plays volleyball at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale was named on her high school's Honour Roll for three years consecutively. In high school, she has received numerous awards and has gained fame. Arike received her diploma from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School situated in her home town. She participated in three games of the varsity league as she studied at the school. Ogunbowale's extraordinary talents and capabilities, led her team to astonishing wins multiple times. High schooler Ogunbowale has made 73 appearances and accumulated 1,477 rebounds and 1,477 rebounds during her professional career. Ogunbowale was crowned gold at the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships and 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships and 2013 3x3 FIBA U18 Championships. The 7th of July, 2014 was the day that Ogunbowale was selected to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also selected to be part of the ACC All-Freshman Team for her first time in a collegiate game. Kobe Bryant congratulated her after hitting several big shots at the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale's basketball career is starting off well and she is expected to continue in that direction. Arike Ogunbowale's estimated net worth amounts to about $5 million according to a source. Ogunbowale's not just a superb basketballer. She also excels in many other sports too. She plays soccer too and has even had three State Cup championships in Lake County United Soccer Club.
